Job Description Atkins is the largest engineering consultant in the UK, largest multi-disciplinary firm in Europe and fourth largest design firm in the world, with a turnover of £1.2Bn. A 30 year project has commenced for the management and improvement of two-thirds of London Underground’s infrastructure. Resources are presently being recruited for the team responsible for the Inspection and Assessment of all the Deep Tube Tunnel assets. Resources required range from Chartered Engineers for Team Leader positions to Graduate Engineers.
Requirements
Engineer: Chartered Civil Engineer or approaching the ICE Professional Review with recognizable amount of experience in the inspection, assessment and design of underground structures. Assistant/ Graduate Engineer: Appropriate degree with recognizable amount of experience in the inspection, assessment and/ or design of underground structures. General Requirements: Knowledge and experience of the rail industry or other similar safety critical industry and the associated rules and regulations essential. Useful for applicants to have specialist skill in numerical modelling FLAC experience preferred. Applicants for this position must have the right to work in the UK without restriction.
