Our clients are a large rail Consultancy organisation, who are looking to recruit a Systems Engineer at their offices in Borehamwood. The role will involve providing signalling and telecoms systems & technical engineering support to projects. To provide inter-disciplinary assistance to projects within the company. Provide systems input to tenders. Provide input to development projects. Ensure SSL bids and contracts are technically competent and compliant with relevant standards and use best practice. Work with the Principal Systems Engineer and the Systems Engineering Manager to establish matters of best practice
Qualifications
HND/HNC level or equivalent education in an engineering related subject, preferably control systems / electrical engineering / systems engineering
Associate Member of an engineering institute
Signalling Electronic Systems Engineer (1.1.150B) IRSE licence
Possess or working towards becoming an Incorporated Engineer
Experience working in a railway engineering environment
Good knowledge of client and systems standards and legislation
Good knowledge of systems engineering principles and good understanding of relevant systems and software tools and the aptitude to develop skills further

A high degree of computer and software literacy
