Building Services is a varied and exciting career with unique challenges and rewards. As a Building Services Engineer, you will play a vital role in the creation of today's landmark buildings. Modern buildings require increasingly advanced solutions for power, lighting, water, climate control, data networking and so on.
You will be responsible for the design, installation and maintenance of these essential services, as well as ensuring the energy efficiency and sustainability of the building.
You will work closely with clients, architects, technicians and builders to integrate systems at the earliest stages of construction, and to develop the architect's vision into a fully functioning building.
Your career in building services will involve a combination of technical planning and design, together with hands on installation and problem solving, all at the cutting edge of engineering.
You should have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; excellent written communication skills; a flexible approach and the ability to demonstrate innovation; an ability to organise own workload with minimum supervision and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
A Degree in Electrical Engineering & Full residency of the EC is essential.
