Commercial Manager London / Lisburn excellent salary and package
This company a leading sub-contractor focusing on architectural metal work and structural steel are looking for a Commercial Manager to join their team.
Ideally they are looking for someone with a strong background gained with a suitable specialist sub-contractor. Suitable experience can be found in the curtain walling, cladding and roofing environment as well as structural steel and architectural metal work. Projects sizes vary but recent large contract wins are up to £20 million and include station upgrades for LUL and Network Rail. Experience of rail projects would be a distinct advantage but is not necessary.
The successful person would be required to direct and manager the company's commercial team at pre and post contract stages. You shall have overall responsibility for all the commercial staff based in London and N Ireland and this role will involve frequent travel between these locations and the successful individual could be based at either.
Key responsibilities would include managing the commercial team in respect of applications, valuations and claims formation, maintaining and implementing procedures to maximise returns on all works, providing strategies and commercial advice to the management team and in identifying commercial opportunities in projects from tender to financial completion.
