Principal Accountabilities
• Quality assurance of construction works; identify non-conformances and follow through on actions to remedy the non conformances
• Carries out client’s inspection duties as laid down in Inspection & Test Plans
• Liaise with contractor’s site management and supervisors.
• Compilation of daily reports of work carried out.
• Assist in recording of quantities.
• Undertake and report on findings of safety and environment inspections identifying any non-conformances.
• Liaison with outside parties including police, local residents and authorities.
Experience working in civil engineering construction
• Thorough knowledge of civil engineering methods of working, quality control, railway structures and safety requirements
• Substantial experience of report compilation and records preparation
