Our clients, are a large rail organisation, who are looking to recruit an Infrastructure Protection Inspector at their offices in Central London. The role will involve delivering Infrastructure Protection services to the underground, endeavouring to protect the railway, its customers, staff, assets and infrastructure from the effects of [otherwise] unmonitored or unagreed activities of third party construction, demolition, development, maintenance and refurbishment projects.
Experience and Qualifications
-Extensive appropriate & relevant experience in a construction/civil engineering management or supervisory role with a major civil engineering
-Preferably, proven experience in the London Underground railway-engineering environment with proven negotiating skills
-Preferably a member of the Institute of Clerks of Works.
-Minimum of a trade qualification in a relevant civil engineering/construction discipline.
-Self-motivated, enthusiastic, responsible and able to work with minimum supervision.
-In depth understanding and broad working knowledge of civil engineering and general construction contractors (and their sub-contractors) requirements and actual working practices.
-Appropriate Fitness to enable job role to be fully undertaken following specific training when required.
