Civil Design Engineer, Central London, £350 - 450 p/day 3 - 6 month contract
Our client is currently working on a major London Underground installation and refurbishment project and they are now seeking a Civil Design Engineer for a six month contract.
Reporting to the Lead Engineer/Design Manager you will be responsible for designing XTP civil design plans, ensuring the design and delivery of the XTP works.
You will be responsible for organizing engineer resources to achieve project targets, review and validate engineer designs and completing discreet design and documentation work on specific project elements.
Holding XTP station ownership you will be responsible for all elements of survey, design, product development, information requests, scoping and checking and production of drawings for installation.
Due to the nature of the London Underground, you will, at times, need to carry out tunnel assessments at night.

Strong Design Background
Excellent IT skills required - all standard applications.
Professional Indemnity Insurance
Preferred:
Experience of working on the London Underground
Knowledge of XTP
Knowledge of London Underground Civil Engineer Design drawing standards
