Our clients are a large rail organisation, who are looking to recruit a 2 x CDM Co-ordinator at their offices in Central London. You will be responsible ultimately to the Client (VP Stations) through the Design Support Services Manager to the Project Manager for ensuring the Clients duties and obligations under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 are met on their projects. Accountable for ensuring that the Clients obligations under CDM are met as defined in the CDM Approved Code of Practice.
Essential:
·Extensive knowledge and experience in a safety discipline with demonstrable experience in railway or similar operationally complex and safety conscious environment.
·Computer literate on multiple packages
·Demonstrate competence to deal with the most complicated engineering matters within their sphere without day-to-day supervision.
·Demonstrate competence to handle a varied caseload comprising a significant range of professional knowledge and judgement.
·Demonstrate an understanding of core business skills and of the client organisation.
Desirable:
·Ideally Member of the Association for Project safety (MaPS)
·Ideally, familiarity with railway operational constraints
