The Company.
Networking & Communications Infrastructure Specialist who provide design, implementation and project management services for Networking & Telephony, Connectivity, Intelligent Infrastructure and Support Requirements.
The Role.
·Provide quality-surveying service to ensure that a fully comprehensive design document as agreed with the customer.
·To produce competitive, accurate and detailed cabling proposals.
·Produce quotations and bid responses for Networking & Structured Cabling solutions that comply with all relative industry codes and standards.
·Survey, design and cost cabling solutions to meet customer's requirements.
·Converse and sell cabling solutions directly with customers and support customer account managers with technical and pricing support.
·Respond to Invitation to tender documents, engaging with Account managers and Cabling Sales engineers to determine to most suitable design solution.
Specific Job Skills/Technical ability
·Accumulate project specific requirements.
·Undertake site surveys establishing accurate costs and material requirements.
·Minimum 2years design / estimating experience within the Structured Cabling / Networking or CCTV industry.
·Ability to produce quality work within demanding time constraints.
·Ideally accredited with BICSI RCDD qualification.
·Strong customer facing skills, (essential) Sound understanding of data cabling technology and current standards
