Role: CAD / GIS Manager

Salary:£40k - £50k + bens dependant on experience
Our client is an established Rail organisation operating throughout the UK, at the forefront of the industry, maintaining its position as a market leader known for its skill and quality workmanship in its fields of operation.
They are seeking to employ a CAD (Computer Aided Design) / GIS (Geo-spatial Information System) Manager
Responsibilities:
To manage and maintain the Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Geo-spatial Information System (GIS) operations, providing access to engineering data, mapping and map based data, managing so that consistent and accurate information is available to all disciplines, covering Distribution, Contact Systems, Plant and Control & Protection, with additional support being provided by a CAD team.
Requirements:
Essential
Extensive experience in the use, development and management of CAD / GIS systems in a multi-disciplinary project environment.
An ability to manage and motivate teams.
A demonstrable aptitude for analysing requirements and developing solutions within specified timescales.
Strong self-motivation and effective communication and team building skills.
Thorough understanding of current technology and awareness of emerging developments.
Desirable
Membership of an Engineering Institution.
Experience of large-scale, fast-track railway electrification projects
Knowledge of OS digital mapping formats.
This role for CAD/GIS Manager based in London and paying a salary up to £50k + bens depending on experience.
