Job Specification:
To work with appropriate statutory and voluntary agencies in delivering a housing support.
To make appropriate referrals to ensure the needs of clients are met.
To undertake the completion of housing and support assessments as directed by the Senior Housing Support Worker.
To negotiate support contracts with clients and to be responsible for maintaining appropriate level of ongoing contacts.
Minimum of 2 years experience of assessing and working with young people.
Ability to organise and prioritise your own workload and keep clear and accurate records
Effective oral and written communication skills Knowledge of relevant housing and care
legislation Knowledge and understanding of best practise in the resettlement process Experience of promoting and developing links
with agencies Understanding of Equal Opportunities Policy issues and commitment to working within an
