We are looking for a Systems Engineer to work for a large railways contractor based in Leicestershire.
Tasks
The Systems Engineers will be responsible for technical and engineering elements of projects and products which requires knowledge of systems design, development of systems design and associated decision making as applied to the Rail Industry.
Education
Electrical / Electronic / Software Engineering qualification to Degree level (or equivalent) and experience in systems engineering in the Rail, Transport or Process Industry.
Chartered Engineer or demonstrate that they are working towards professional accreditation with a relevant institution
Knowledge/Languages
Maintain excellent knowledge of technical / engineering standards and processes associated with the transport and process industries as appropriate
Experience
Practical experience of systems, design or development engineering and associated decision making
The successful applicant will be expected to have technical/product knowledge relevant to the Rail sector and be capable of applying that knowledge to projects
