ROLE: Telecoms Project Engineer (Safety Critical Role)
PURPOSE :To assist the Telecoms Construction Manager Engineer and deliver the commissioning construction plan
Key Result Area:
•Assist towards the final end result of the construction within time/budget/to contract specification, applying the management system
•To ensure delegated areas of the contract are is completed to meet group standards (subject to contract conditions)
•To ensure works are completed to meet required Health, Safety & Environmental requirements
•To effectively determine and request resources, i.e. people, time, plant, materials, subcontractors
•To check, control and authorise (within defined limits) purchase requisitions placed by site managers
•Effectively maintain supplier relationships
•Effectively communicate contract requirements to staff
•Motivate staff
•Produce written reports, e.g. accident investigation
•Assist in the management of internal interfaces, e.g. testing, design, installation
•Identify key variations to contract
•Assist in the management of production of method statements, test plans and outline project specifications
•Liaise with the appropriate Network Territory in order to establish required line possessions

•Computer skills - Primavera and SureTrack
•Understanding of management systems
