About the Company: My client is one of the leading providers of Infrastructure services in the UK. They specialize in Infrastructure, Rail, Utilities Tunneling and Airport schemes for BAA. Their services include both Design and Build and their reputation is based upon innovation, strong safety record, technical expertise, professional delivery, and a culture of partnership, earned on some of the UK's highest profile projects.
About the Role: They are looking for an experienced Senior Environmental Advisor, with a proven track record within the Construction/Civil Engineering industry. Initially this role will be based on a current major Highways project on the M1 Junctions 25-28 but as the role develops you may be required to cover other areas of the UK. Your role will be to provide technical and pragmatic support and advice on environmental issues to particular sites/projects and to ensure effective implementation and delivery of the company management system and its CSR/environmental policies.
About the Benefits/Rewards: The Company offer's an excellent salary and benefits package. Base salaries will vary dependent on level and experience. Benefits package consists of car/allowance, bonus, pension scheme and Healthcare.
About the Requirement: You will be confident in liaising with both management team and client, and have an extensive working knowledge of environmental management and legislation. Detailed and practical abilities in all elements of environmental permitting are required. An understanding of Health & Safety legislation and/or quality management systems I advantageous as are strong influencing and communication skills.
