We currently require a Telecoms Support Engineer to assist with improving of the technical performance of the Signal Systems.
Duties will include:
Assist with improvement of the technical performance of the Signal Systems.
Provide technical support as a signalling or telecomms consultant on allocated contracts or projects.
Undertake internal and technical investigations.
Audit Signal Systems’ departments, sub-contractors and suppliers on technical compliance with relevant Group, Company and BBRP standards.
Provide technical input to the tendering process.
Act as technical contact and liaison with clients and sub-contractors.
Produce technical reports.
Work with clients to resolve outstanding technical issues.
Assist in carrying out risk assessments.
Act as assessor verifier for competence assessments.
To assist in monitoring the progress of the Signal Systems’ trainees.
Review new/altered standards and consider the impact on the Signal Systems business.
Skill requirements:
PTS and/or ST1.
Possess or be working towards your IRSE Licence 6.8.105 (Engineering Manager).
Experience of working in telecommunications design, testing or installation at a managerial level.
Computer literacy.
Report writing skills.

Awareness of railway construction methods and materials used. Legislation and health & safety awareness. |
