About the Company: Established over 30 years ago my client have established a strong reputation in the Lincolnshire region and currently have a group turnover of £55million. Their approach is non confrontational, resulting in exceptionally high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business. This has lead to securing several major frameworks. They cover a wide range of Civil Engineering construction in a wide range of markets.
About the Roles: Depending on the size of the project you will either be assisting a Senior Quantity Surveyor or running a small project of your own. Projects range to £15million and can be anything from Roads, Groundworks, Drainage, Structures or Water related projects. Duties will include measurement and valuation of sub contract packages, analyzing and summarizing cost reports, and commercially assisting the Senior Quantity Surveyor's will all aspects of the projects.
About the benefits / rewards: You will be paid up to£28k dependant on experience, with added benefits once established, of healthcare, pension and company car/allowance, and also put onto the bonus scheme. You will be joining a leading local contractor who will support you with an ongoing training programme.
About the requirements: All the company asks is for you to be educated to degree standard in Quantity Surveying. Ideally you will have 2 years quantity surveying experience with a civil engineering contractor and have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as working well in a team. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are also required.
