A Senior Electrical Design Engineer with extensive experience in the Data Centre / Telecommunications / Mission Critical Systems is required for this specialist Date Centre Consultancy.
You will get involved in a blend on both new build and complex refurbishment / conversion projects with the M & E value ranging from £5 to £15 Million.
Current projects include Computer room new builds, Data centre design and builds, high density power and cooling upgrades, Switchgear & Instrumentation upgrades and Server room design and builds.
You will take a lead role for ensuring the quality of all Electrical Installation work, oversee contractors works, check and approve all electrical designs (or changes and upgrades), manage budgets and see the project through to handover.
The successful individual will have extensive electrical design and project management experience, up-to-date knowledge of mission critical systems and data-centre design and installation _Best Practices._ Ability to produce single line diagrams and perform Electrical Calculations using Amptech is critical.
Role will involve travel throughout the Home and outer home counties, however all expenses and accommodation will be provided in addition to a company vehicle (or allowance) and mileage.
