Our Client a leading Infrastructure, Building and Business Services company, with 40,000 employees and an order book worth over £9bn require an experienced Quantity Surveyor with vast knowledge and experience of Sub-Contract Procurement gained in working for a Major Contractor.
This is a contract position for a minimum period extending to the year end.
The successful candidate will be accountable to the Project/Senior QS for all commercial and contractual aspects of the project. The role will include:
•Performing the commercial function
•Providing Operations with commercial and contractual advice, determining risk and maximising opportunities.
•Assisting the supply chain in the procurement of suppliers and sub-contractors.
•Maintaining a robust and consistent control process on the project, to ensure that appropriate changes and variations are identified and agreed.
•Ensuring compliance with the Management Systems.
