Depot Plant and Equipment Engineer
To manage maintenance, renewal and provision of new Plant and Equipment within Depots.
* Requirements for safety, quality and value for money.
* Specifications and agreed targets for cost and time scale.
Responsible for Preventative Maintenance, Replacement, and Upgrading of assets with a total depot value of approx. £100m.
Through the section there are approx. 30 external preventative maintenance Contracts managed in addition 50 projects for design
Manufacture and implementation.
Planning and organising DESU's work within the Depots.
Plans and controls a budget of approx. £300K which contributes to the overall budget of approx. £4m.
Assist the Depot Plant and Equipment Manager to determine and agree the project requirements, to ensure that the business objectives are met.
On behalf of the Depot Plant and Equipment Manager, commission, check, approves and where appropriate, agrees with the Depot Plant and Equipment Manager.

" The scope of project work required
" Detailed design and construction programmes showing milestones and key events.
" Detailed cost plans, phasing expenditure and cash flow over the term.
" Authority for the control of change through the concession process for equipment that cannot meet LU standards.
" Production of Safety Review Change Control process for new equipment and change of processes.
" Review of all Risk Assessment and Method Statements to ensure that they meet all requirements of the project in hand.
To ensure that the projects are properly funded and controlled to meet required performance, safety and business standards.
You'll be educated to HND /HNC Level within Engineering
